Your Studio is very professional and the place is gorgeous with stunning views over garden and mountains. Food are just fantastic, and the service and friendly attitude just make you feel so much at home. It is a long since I have relaxed so much. THANK you very much for a lovely stay.

D’Alijo Retreat Center is a wonderful place in the midst of green hills, small rivers and waterfalls, abundantly green!
We organized a yoga retreat here and we could not have been more lucky! All was so well arranged: the accommodations modern, spacious and well decorated, and let me not even get started about the food… Each day a different variation of dishes, varying from Indian and Vietnamese to Italian, Greek and Portuguese nights. A pleasure for the eye and the tongue :). Mike being super passionate about his green garden, growing lots of foods and herbs that are used in the kitchen himself, just radiates passion for food and that you taste. As a yoga teacher the spot was amazing: the top hill yoga studio was the best spot for early meditation in the first sun beams of the day and to integrate all of the elements into the Ayurveda yoga classes I gave. This enabled all participants to really reconnect to nature and foster healing and peace ad tranquility from within.

This place is a gem on our planet. Simply gorgeous! Secluded, intimate, stylish and comfortable. Many spaces to relax around the property! Accommodation and delicious food are Top. One of the only places in Europe for a hot yoga retreat with a properly heated yoga room. Fantastic views and the hosts, Mikel and Nico, are wonderful. We fully enjoyed our Bikram/Yin yoga retreat here in May 2018 and will return for sure! If you had to imagine what paradise looked like, this would be it!

We have just visited D’Alijo yoga retreat centre in North Portugal, searching for a new place where we could organize several Teacher Trainings. We found it! D’Alijo is a beautiful place in the midst of nature. The Studio is very professional and “the spot” is gorgeous with stunning views. We also found the whole surroundings stunning and we believe our students will have a perfect time here.
Although at the time of our visit the owners where still building and working we immediately had the feeling we found the perfect spot for our teacher trainings & retreats and made the first reservations for 2018.
